Contributed to a crowdfunded Kiva Loan to Siria Agustina in Honduras to invest in the purchase of meat, beans, vegetables, condiments, flour, bananas, etc. She has worked for 10 months selling food like “baleadas” [folded flour tortilla with beans, cheese, etc.], empanadas, chicken and plantains, wings, pork chops, and soft drinks. She sells in a store in her community. She used to have a convenience store.
This loan is special because it supports single mothers raising families on very little income.
